old building w color and border.jpgby bennettjamieComment: I agree that you have found one cool building here. The color version works much better than the b/w, most likely due to the fact that the lighting on the front of the building is in shadows. The colors show a lot of nice details that seem to be lost when you converted it to b/w.
I did a quick edit and I will post it here for your viewing. I provided the editing I did to it in the comments section. I think warming the photo up really brings out even more of the cool textures and allows you to see the lettering on the building even better.
I think the crop might be a bit close on the left - espeically on the window - It is a nice shape and adds a lot of interest. Do you have a wider version of this? I really like the brick building on the right and would not crop that one down any further.

Day 7 - Duck Balletby jonfrommkComment: Jon - Nice capture and I love the title. i find it interesting that the waves are present above the ducks but not below. I think a bit more texture on the water would have been nice in the foreground - and I am sure that a Nikon would have been able to pick it up a lot better than that silly excuse for a camera you are dragging around... |

Riding Farm on the Stormby SoulMan1978Comment: i really like the dreamy quality of this shot - the softness of the sky and placement of the chimney and tree at opposite corners along the horizon really anchor this shot |

Sunset Beachby dainmcgowanComment: cool colors, albeit it unnatural. i think what bothers me about the shot is the horizon not being straight |

Horned Owlby stargazer05766Comment: Very cool horned owl - I like the processing and the fact that you were able to isolate it so much. I love VINS - it is worth a visit, especially since it is so close to Simon Pierce, Woodstock, and the Quechee gorge. Nice work! |

How small we are!!!!!by onarComment: Antonis - Fantastic image. I didn't get to vote, but this was clearly among my favorites in the challenge. The placement of the people really provides for the greatness of this space. Excellent stuff! |

The Organist's View Of The Congregationby jonfrommkComment: Jon
You did better than you expected. I really like the use of the mirror for a perspective shot, but I think many don't follow this as many have never sat in the organist's spot. The orange color background really works well. I just wish it were ever so little bit sharper (i am a sharp freak - if you haven't noticed). |

Lonely Perspectiveby SandyPComment: Wonderful use of leading lines and vanishing point to make this one special. The placement of the man walking away really works well here |
