this is quite superb .. !! ..
and i would like to see it get the blue ..
to facilitate that i'm going to give you a 10 .. and i dont give them out willy nilly .. or often ...
its a sad fact of life that creatures have to get eaten so that other creatures can survive ..
if someone took a photo of a person eating a piece of chicken .. no-one would bat an eye .. but seeing this little mouse .. is another story ..
in some ways .. because we are so far removed from the 'process' that delivers an animal to our plate .. we have become ignorant of the abuse they suffer .. i'm hoping this little mouse had a speedy end with no unnecessary suffering . . i can see what looks like a cage in the background ... that in no way diminishes the excellence of this image .. in fact it adds to the story .. :)

it may not be a slower shutter speed .. thats just my impression .. maybe they were moving so fast .. that they overcame the physics of this natural universe .. anyway .. her expression .. the hands .. the smoke and the environment .. make for a brilliant image .. :)
