thought this would get the blue or the red .. it really was a toss-up for me ..
but that was before i fully grasped Christophe's inspired message in his photo .. which i did after reading his notes ..
and then of course Mark's was awesome as well .. there were so many in the top 10 that were fantastic .. really brought out the creativity this challenge . .

i loved this so much in voting .. and look at that .. i was your only 10 .. !! ..

congratulations on such a great pic .. and the ribbon ..
i just noticed that where the hand is inside the pie dish there seems to be a bit of oof .. which actually adds to this image .. gives it sense of movement ..
btw .. looks even better bigger after rollover .. bit of a tongue twister there .. ;)

AMAZING .. !! ..
so much of what you expressed in your photograph was lost to me until i read your notes ..
once again an image that has so much going on visually .. but also what the visual represents .. levels where you can go deeper if you so desire .. you have said before that you are no great shakes as a photographer .. but i suppose you are someone who expects a lot of themselves .. i think of you as a visionary .. who takes great photographs and then transforms them into your thoughts and feelings about our world .. not just thoughts and feelings ... but beliefs as well ..
congratulations on another unforgettable image and the story behind it .. and of course the blue .. :)

loving the sweep of the spatula or whatever it is .. representing one of those old fashioned grandfather clocks .. this is so imaginative and excellent .. love the thought that went into this .. and the resulting image .. :)

a wonderful challenge entry .. of course we all know who you are .. !! .. lol .
there's one other that IMHO you will be competing against for the blue ribbon .. but seeing your colour scheme is more on the red side .. and i have noticed that the colour scheme of an image often matches the ribbon they eventually receive .. who knows how this will play out .
i'll be giving you a 10 .. so the voters will decide who's image will get the blue .. :)

ps.. i'll be looking forward to reading your notes on this .. as your entries always have such a depth behind them .. :)

as you can see i'm pretty impressed with this ..
will totally ribbon .. the overall blue colour scheme could bode well for a blue ribbon ... there's one other that in my humble opinion i feel will be competing for that honour ..
