how cute ... hope he didnt choke on the candle!!! . i like the bit on the side of the tin saying 'nutrition facts' .. gives the impression that you're looking after him!!.. which is pretty obvious i spose coz you celebrate his birthday, even when you dont really know the exact day .. just lovely ...

very intersting shot ... really like the sepia and the way the gate is open in an 'inviting' sort of way!!! .. love those trees balancing/framing the gate as well .. image could be a bit tilted .. which brings me to how ppl often say they've rotated an image ... when i rotate an entire image i have to then crop it, and often lose the composition the way i wanted it .. i wonder if there's another way?? .. cant imagine there is, but i'll put it out there anyway .......

still reckon this is an awesome image!! .. maybe one of these days dpc might organise some sort of challenge involving ppl from different countries?? ..
left an answer about water on my photo, but realised that you'd probably never see it ... then thought of a PM but i'll leave a msg here instead ... so many choices!!! ..
we're on tank water so we dont have the same restrictions you do .. i've had to buy heaps of water in the last year, but have heard that its still a lot cheaper than town water .. i get matt to measure the water in the tank before he washes any cars, coz if you dont check it regularly you can be caught out badly ... and if we have a power failure here then we dont have anything .. no water, no cooking .. nothing .. coz the water is on a pump which runs on electricity ... so when there's a storm and we think we'll lose power, we often fill up the bath so at least we can flush the toilet !! ..

we dont have water restrictions as such coz we're on tank water ... the restrictios we do have are that my tank is now 1/4 full and we've gotta buy water ... i've heard that its still cheaper than being on town water tho .....
