Day 27 - The Post Officeby xianartComment: excellent shot ... beautiful and rich with that amazing blue sky and the tones on the brickwork etc .. great angle ..
edit ... didnt notice those branches forming a subtle vignette appearance until i was closing the image ... had to come back and say i love those branches ... they give this shot an added dimension somehow .. Message edited by author 2007-02-27 15:08:25. |

Tetons Day 24by emily212Comment: wot a fantastic shot ... just love your composition ... at first i didnt notice the buildings coz i was just looking at the overall photograph .. and then i looked closer ... love those buildings sort of nestled down out of sight and not immediately obvious ... well to me anyway ... maybe i need a new prescription for my glasses!!! |

Walk the Dogs Day 25by emily212Comment: love those two dogs running out ahead of you in that icey/snowy landscape ... love the blue tone ... i'm smiling comparing your dogs to mine .. coz i have two ... one bull terrier cross, sasha (the fart machine) and seriously gorgeous/katee who is a miniature foxy ... katee is really my daughter's dog, but i take her for a walk and feed her!!! ... they often get in my way when i'm photographing, especially sashy who is nearly deaf and i have to just about scream at her to move!! ... but they often make a photograph too!!! .. Day 27.1 - The Yacht Clubby xianartComment: excellent rich deep beautiful tones in this photograph ... just love it ... sooooooooo sharp ....
just found thread where they're talking about starting a minimal editing project ... made me wonder if you edited this at all and if you didnt wot settings etc you had on your camera and wot time of day it was coz you've achieved such a fantastic look/colouring etc etc etc.. i cant tell from the shadows .. think i see a bit of a vignette there, or from wot i learned two days ago it could even be a polarizing filter!! .... altho i'm not sure whether you'd get the vignette on both sides .. i bought one two days ago and i'm still working it out .. |

EK Holdenby nixterComment: hi stanger!! .. love the shadows and the colours in this photo .. also rather like the sort of odd perspective ..
i had an EH Holden in '84 ... had a head-on in it ... fortunately they're real strong cars ... reckon i'd'v been killed or a quadraplegic/paraplegic if i'd been in say a toyota or something ... and despite writing that holden off i do really like old holdens ... bought it from a friend & called it bill coz the number plate was bil-599 & paid maybe $500 for it ... the cheapest car i ever bought was a bellett for $260 .. wrote that one off too .. long story .. wasnt my fault of course!! .. i've obviously just had some bad luck!!! ... |

Matsuriby AliciaComment: excellent shot .. the first thing i thought when looking at it was that it's a shame that i cant see the face of the one furthest away .. then i read your comment .. the more ppl you have in a shot the greater the chances that one of them is going to be doing something that just doesnt fit in the photograph .... even so its still an excellent shot .. beautiful colours.. those gorgeous children and the one at the front, wot a cute expression .. |
