yeah the border does a nice job of enclosing the image, but it could be a bit dark and possibly thin ..??? ... and of course thats just my opinion .. i really like the way you've lifted this image and given it so much more depth .. i love those busy weedy things in the foreground ..

edit... image was too small ... interesting, coz other ppl have edited my images in dpc .. wonder why it didnt work ...

this one just SCREAMS 'NIXTER' .... great shot nick ... you take such 'clean' shots ... great colours, great perspective and lines .. the bricks are awesome ... just excellent .....

hmmmm .. how unusual and how interestingly artistic .... love those colours . love the design . love the sort of simplicity . and that crease in the sky ... wotsthat? .. is it an overlay, or something layer, erased from the rest of the image??? .. or something else entirely!!! .. ahhh, possibly the brickwork !!! wotever .... great shot nick .. another one with that 'nixter' feel ... you clever bugger ... also looks sort of mexican .. couldnt work out why at first, and then it dawned on me ... CACTUS ... (and possibly that terracotta colour as well) .. but dohhhhhhhhh ... i'm such a dummy .... must be coz i'v only had like three hours sleep in three nights .... so i'm in hyper crazy mode ... usually i'm extremely intelligent and also very sane .... and thats ma story ..

ah yes ... the fooling around in photoshop ... spose it happens to the best of us ... obviously the fooling around is totally paying off for you ...
i've gotta look at those tutorials nick ... i've looked at two all the way thru ... i'm a bit lazy/impatient/STUPID ... if i just put one on occasionally, like you suggested, then i'd be able to boost my knowledge to such an extent that i'd be getting blue ribbons all over the place !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.. LOL and ha ha ... its just that i get caught up doing wot i know and dont want to spend the time .. i think i should reconsider my priorities!! ...

talk about an excellent photograph .. i reckon this could have got on the first page if it hadnt dq'd .. that's such a shame .. my condolences ... i would've been very upset if that had happened to me on such an great entry ..
