i actually like this one better than the one you put in ... in fact i reckon this one could have got a blue ribbon ... the colour of the image would match it real well too ...... just love that amazing rich intense blue sky with the glow and the almost abstract feel created by the silhouettes of the bridge and the bike and rider ..... i would've give this a 10 by the way ... no hesitation ......

love this shot ... love your composition and the 'dead' space ... i dont mind the water, it sort'v lives with the white of the sail ... to me this photograph is just perfect ... and 400mm !!! ...... the resulting image is excellent .. i looked to see wot lens you use and its not listed on your profile page ... i have a Tamron AF 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 XR Di II for Canon, and at full zoom the resulting image is very noisy ... so your lens must be a stunner, much like this shot!!

i love the person walking and the sense of movement and life she gives to this image ... love your composition .. like she's just about to exit the scene .. love how the bins create an almost motion blur from her ... you've gotta be quite imaginative to see that of course!!! .. great border ... i use them myself to make the image larger and more in your face in dpc .. they work well in 'real' life as well .....

just noticed wot deb said and yeah ... that's totally excellent the duplication of stride in the girl and the pic on the wall ..... didnt notice it till i just read deb's comment ... maybe i'm not that imaginative after all !!...:)..

OMG .. how do you do it???? ... like this very ordinary and probably extremely boring scene and you go and turn it into something quite interesting, graphic, arty, attractive and a bloody good photograph ... :) .. please excuse the use of profanity .. i am as you know, usually quite averse to such bad language !! .. but i needed the emphasis ...:)

yes i really like the 'drunken tilt' as well ... great feel in this photograph .. would go really well on someone's wall .. the tilt would be a real eye catcher!! .. all the other elements that go to make this image would be as well, of course .....
hmmmmmm notice a bit'v noise goin on .... you see it works for this image so well .... my gum leaves could'v been a result of the polarizing filter, which i couldnt be bothered taking off at the time, and uv as well .. i'm thinking that both together might create more noise, altho i could be wrong ..
