i love this image .. i'm not sure why .. it could be coz she looks so nice and friendly and i love her nearly cheeky expression .. and i'm drawn into the scene, possibly because of that .. i love the sepia tone, coz combined with her coat etc it looks like a photograph that was taken 40 - 50 years ago ..

hey deb .. great photograph altho i'd personally like it a bit sharper or focused on the berries .. which is just my opinion and ppl with more of an idea will love this just the way it is!! ..:) .. i like the colour hue, coz altho it really is still b&w in my eyes, it has that suggestion of green which goes with your subject very well .. i did a similar thing with my bracken for day 7, but didnt make it quite as green as this one .. i like your border ..

the thumb just doesnt do justice to this excellent photograph .. love the contrast and your composition .. this is fantastic in b&w .. just gorgeous ..

ahha ... bit of a blending mode going on!!!! .. i'd have been more inclined to intensify it because it is so faint, so that it created a bit'v contrast with the rest of the image, but it could fight with your subject if you did that .. and coz i'm only imagining and not seeing it i'm not really sure .. but that could just be me .. .. looking at it again and i'm thinking a straight vignette could work better .. but its all personal and i reckon some ppl will love your suggested plants/flowers in those corners etc .. that bug looks just about cute!! and i dont like them at all!!! ..:)
