it looks like a brilliant straight from the camera image, altho if you've edited it then you've used a very subtle and delicate touch .. one small thing, which i didnt notice in the first 6 or seven views!!!!!! .. is that her face is a tiny bit pink ... ?? .. wotever !!
coz this is a wonderful photograph of your daughter .. :)

well it seems that the voters didnt like it but that often tells us nothing .. look at how many of mine bomb out that are absolutely amazing and incredible images .. lol lol LOL !!!!! ... as in .. ha ha ..
this is a great image .. its very appropriate for the title .. if this had gone in a 'stakeout' challenge you'd have got a ribbon for sure .. think i've said something like that about something else .. but it is so true .. free studies are buggars .. so many ppl and so many harsh critics and often some absolutely amazing entries .. ppl pick their best of the month .. and some of these ppl are the 'best' in dpc .. so yeah ..
you got a few positive comments tho .. so you obviously pleased some of the ppl .. :)

this image brings to mind a very hot african summer .. i know you dont live in africa, but i think it can be pretty hot where you do live .. i like the vignette appearance it seems like its on tv or something .. like a documentary from the 50's possibly .. it has a very old fashioned feel .. like an old photograph that's been sitting in someone's cellar cracking up .. !! .. excellent colours .. :)

beautiful sue .. love the subtle colouring and low contrast .. which is a change for me, coz i'm big on drama !!!!!! .. the lines of the agave tho, i think, those large leaves spreading out, create the drama here for me .. love that white and yellow flower nestled in amongst the action .. !! :)

as i was scrolling down when i opened this i was looking forward to seeing the visitor !!!!! .. and wot a cute little visitor he is too ... altho i'm not sure if he's a frog or a tortoise!! .. love the colouring and grainy effect .. the white areas remind me of bubbles which is appropriate if this is a frog or a tortoise !!!!!!! lol .......:)
