love it judy .. the texture really adds to the overall effect .. altho i havent seen the original !! .. love that background concrete .. i get a very similar look to your border using layer style/inner shadow ... its great coz you can play around with different thicknesses and opacities and colours and you can add noise too .. the thing is, if you merge that inner shadow layer down with the one underneath it you lose the noise .. :)

yes i'm having problems with my sensor being dirty too .. i'm too scared to clean it myself, altho i'm sure i'll get over the fear real soon .. not wanting to shoot above f11 at a clear blue sky or wotever will be the motivator .. lol ..
seriously tho .. excellent photograph .. love the texture you've used, it gives this an old fashioned feeling .. well to me anyway .. i can just imagine some women with those long dresses carrying umbrellas strolling past the photographer .. the photographer seems to have stepped back in time .. :)

OMG .. !! .. this is just excellent .. I LOVE HER EYES .. they do look very katee-ish .. !! .. AND THE BALL .. it looks all eaten away .. our dogs, both sasha and katee, tear all the outside material off tennis balls and they're left BALD !!! .. i love this photograph for her eyes and her wonderful expression, the way she's looking right at you, and the ball of course . !! ..:)
