life .. the start can often be very touch and go .. looking at these very new chicks i wonder if they survived .. its a great shot .. love that hungry little mouth, the eyes that have never opened, the nearly featherless bodies .. some would think ugly, but to me they are very very cute .. the nest surrounding them is perfect .. its like enclosed and protective ..:)
