i looked thru this challenge altho i didnt vote and this one just blew me away .. thought it would get the blue for sure .. its the right colour too .. !!!!!
it's the most stunning image .. so incredibly beautiful & the patterns are exquisite ..
i just dont understand why this didnt beat that ugly old fly .. !! .. :)

far out ... so they came really close to being sliced up .. that would'v been horrible ..
greg mowed some of the grassy area on the weekend where i often take pics of insects .. there are heaps of frogs there now .. i walked around checking to see if any were injured .. !!
found a few that were dead but a couple a bit dazed .. put them in a safe place in the longer grass that he'd left unmowed .. :)

i totally love the magritte feel to this .. him along with escher were my absolutely favs when i was growing up, and escher is still one of my all time favs especially coz of the optical illusions in his images ..
i love your idea and the fantastic processing on this .. i try and work out how you've done it, and i really have no idea .. EXCELLENT .. !!!!!
of course i'm thinking flaming pear flood which is one of my all time fav filters .. !!!!!
