Very pretty shot. For what it worth - I would have prefered a more horizontal cropping giving the goose a place to swim from and to since the feet and bubbles are suggesting motion through the water. Color and contrast of black and grey tones of water make this a very sharp. Nicely done.

Color of Cavities

I like the randomness of this shot. I would have prefered a differnt background. The soft, out of focus reflections are distracting. Black might have made the colors pop out.

Refracted Smilies

I like this. I wish it were photgraphed on another base (no mirror). The upper part is attractive then the lower part becomes busy witht he reflection. Also would have eliminated, or at least minimized (I believe) the distortion .

Very effective picture; clear and crisp. Couple of suggestions for whatever they are worth: would have liked to see the colors lined up diagnolly instead of as they randomly appear. Smudges are distracting. The brown (blue dust on green) was also distracting. I think it is because the picture is so clear that these imperfections become magnified. As I said, nice shot!
