Country Churchby sherComment: A little too much empty space for my taste. I would have liked a tighter crop on the buildingand less of the sky. |

Country Swingby dbensonComment: Too much background. Just her face and arms would have drawn attention to her face. |

J'adoreby KonadorComment: Just enough softness to make it warm a fuzzy! Good shot. I can almost hear the ahwwws on this one when it opens. |

The Cuban aromaby JasonComment: Nicely done. I would have liked to have seen the cigar slightly elevated. . . just slightly to get rid of the straight edge on the bottom. Makes it look like it is out of the picture (which I guess it really is!). |

Breakfast aromasby trainComment: This is one heck of a shot and a great interpretation of the challenge. A couple of things kept it from getting my highest mark. Focus from front to back needs to be consistent. It looks like it may have been over sharpened. The rim on the coffee cup and saucer are ragged (on my screen). You evoked a sencse of smell in my nose immediately. Steam riseing from the food would have tweaked an aditional sense of aroma. You still got good marks from me. Is that scene off your deck? Best of luck. |

Isopropylby GeneralEComment: I thought this was a very common, but at the same time unique, interpretation of the challenge. Common in that almost everyone has experienced this smell. I wish that the hand (your hand? If so a model might have helped) came more out of the left and did not take up so much of the subject. Also, it is under exposed somewhat and a little too grainnie. I realize I have made several criticisms but they are are offered in the most constructive of spirit. Best of luck. |
