Incredibly picture, but there is no story here. To tell a story, there should be additional elements that combine to tell a story. Maybe I'm missing something, but this seems to me to merely be an excellent picture of a fly that does not actually meet the challenge.

Is this goose playing or did he land from a tragic accident?

It's a nice picture, but the horizon is slanted. Also, it does not tell a story. It's just a picture of a sunset on the water (but a nice one). For it to tell a story, there should be an additional element or elements that combine together to tell a story.

I like this one better than the other one. The second commenter in the other one made a good point about the desaturation - either go the whole way (as you did here) or bring the color back. I also agree with him about the alternative to the model not looking at the camera (as I had suggested) which is to have her look at the camera in a very "come hither" way. That's an excellent suggestion. Either she isn't aware of your presence, or she is trying to seduce you. But her smile here is just a nice smile - almost motherly. And no one should ever see their mother's butt! Although this woman has a very nice one.

I think this would be better if she were not smiling at the camera. By doing that, it makes the picture more of a snapshot than anything else. If you did everything exactly the same but had her looking off to left sort of absent-mindedly, then this would (I think) become more artistic. I hesitate to use the word "voyeuristic", but it would at least give a greater feeling of intimacy (I think that's the word I'm looking for) by appearing to show the viewer a private glimpse into the model's world. Whereas, by having her look at the camera with that smile, I just feel like I'm looking at some husband or boyfriend's snapshot of his wife intended for him. I mean I don't think she's smiling at all of us unknown viewers, I think she's smiling at YOU. Finally, photographically, the picture seems de-saturated. Take it in better light. Now, having said all that, I think it's a nice picture with a beautiful model and great potential once you make a few tweaks.
