Obliquenessby PhotologistComment: Congratulations on your 6+ finish! The clouds add a lot of interest to this photo, and the curve of the frond is very strong. |

Protected Fruitby seeComment: I think this is a lovely image that some voters perhaps had trouble fitting into the challenge. I gave it a 6, and honestly probably would have scored it higher in a different challenge. You did a very good job with the colors and saturation. |

Sinuous Salamanderby Blue MoonComment: The curve of the salamandar's body and water droplets are beautiful. Congratulations on your 6+ finish, very much deserved! |

Diagon Alleyby MelethiaComment: Deb,
I'm loving your Germany photos. I gave this a 10. In fact, it was one of my faves of the challenge. I love the vanishing point and I think you did an excellent job controlling the lighting, which could have easily gotten blown on the cobblestones. Great shot! |

The Pathby ElaineComment: This doesn't work for me as a titled image - I think the reason is that there is a lot of detail in the photo, with the trees and shadows, so it is difficult to pinpoint a subject to latch onto. I would really like to see this straight, as the road has a lovely curve. |

Zenby meyersComment: I like the simplicity of this photo. I think this would be interesting as part of a triptych (spelling?) showing the plane as well. |

Court Street Bridgeby bmartuchComment: I expected this would score a bit higher. I think the lines are nice, the focus is crisp, and the colors are lovely. |

Paddle Wheelby JuliBocComment: Julianne,
I think you have very interesting perspective in this photo. On my monitor the blacks look a bit green, which may just be my monitor. I would like to see a bit more of the detail in the wheel, but it looks like it was a pretty difficult subject to light! Nice job. |

A Meeting of Mindsby raishComment: Raish,
I gave this photo a 7, as I really like the interaction between the cats and the expression on the one cat's face. I suspect some people were a little harsh because the photo is fairly dark, and often cats don't do well in general. I agree with some of the other photos that a bit more light would have made a big difference. |
