Empty Spacesby shamerComment: Very strong image, and excellent use of centering instead of "rule of thirds." I'm trying to decide if the light splotch on the far left is a detriment - I think it is - but only a minor one. 8. |

Is There Anybody Out There?by Joey LawrenceComment: DOF is very well executed in this photo, and face is perfectly lit. Something feels a trifle off balance - it may be the close crop on right arm. Whites also look just a tad blown on dress. Overall, very strong entry that would work outside this challenge as well. 8. |

Mudmen (1972: Obscured by clouds)by AbstractComment: Excellent entry. Obviously took a lot of preparation! This really says "Pink Floyd" to me, right down to the crazy eyeballs and serious expression. It would be really creepy if the face was just floating in black, but realize that wouldn't be allowed in challenge. Just a thought. 8. |

Mother, do you think they'll drop the bomb?by timfythetooComment: This is a great entry. The composition works very well, and it has a true Pink Floyd feel. The only thing that bothers me a bit is the lightness of the road toward the top of photo- it draws the eye away from the subject. 8. |
