House Hubbyby MAKComment: LOL. This is pretty funny. Love all the textures and patterns, really adds to the feeling of chaos here. Oh, and nice camisole. :-) |

Autumn's Glory Diesby SteveJComment: Question for you: have you ever tried adjusting white balance on your camera? I just took a class in lighting, where I learned about white balance, and it opened a whole new world for me. This is a classic example of a photo that might have benefited from a warming filter (open shade setting for very warm, cloud setting for slightly warm). Basically, one of these filters would help alleviate the blue cast (unless, of course, that blue cast was intentional).
Otherwise- I think you've got a pretty strong composition going here, and some nice lines. Looks like you could have used a tripod for a little more exposure. A bit dark.

Flank of a bay mareby snafflesComment: Beautiful browns, but would like to see a focal point such as an eye. I do like the textures and lighting - looks perfectly exposed. |

Remains of Autumnby ElaineComment: Chaimelle,
I disagree with the "too easy and simple" comment. I really like this photo for its simplicity. Did you use an unsharp mask on it? Looks just a touch fuzzy toward the outer edges of leaves in back. I like the rounded feel of the composition. Nice entry. |

And if the cloud bursts, thunder in your ear...you shout and no one seems to hear.by bmartuchComment: Bob,
I like the rainbow effect behind your daughter, and also good composition (though I might have cropped a bit more off left side - feels a little long). This may have been over-sharpened a bit, and the saturation is definitely tweaked. This would have probably been stronger if you could have used advanced editing to pop the rainbow but not Gretchen's features. All in all an interesting entry, though, and I love the expression :-) |

Limpkin - brown camouflageby JuliBocComment: Another very solid entry, Julianne! Nice capture and good composition. I'd like to see this with a little shorter DOF to make the Limpkin pop more, but I realize how hard that is when you've got one chance to take a shot. Good job! |
