My Pumps.. er... um.. Humpsby skewsmeComment: Highly underrated. This was one of the best photos in the challenge IMHO. Love the weird colors, the spooky feeling, the way the horizon looks skewed even though it is straight. Plus I burst out laughing when I opened it - always a good thing! Nice humps, er pumps :-) |

Desert Cactusby WinkComment: I really, really like this. It has a beautiful abstract feel but at the same time is recognizable as cacti. There is also a great sense of continuity via curves. Into favorites! |

Painterby JuliBocComment: Julianne,
This was one of the best photos in the challenge, and I thought it would do better! I gave it an 8 and considered a 9. I think it shows procrastination perfectly, and is humorous as well. Very sharp and vivid colors. Great job! |

Hitchcock: The Birdsby wsteynComment: I think this may be the most interesting photo in this challenge, and that's saying something with 700-odd entries. I really like the fact that this looks natural and is not technically "perfect". 9. |

In the Bowels of the Cityby timfythetooComment: I really like this because it shows this man as a person instead of just a photo opportunity - you preserve his dignity very well, I think. I also think the effect of the cracked sky is very strong. |

"Crying, Waiting, Hoping"by MelethiaComment: Deb, this is an excellent capture but more importantly a very good photo. These little guys are so sharp, and the emotive is great. I think you should be proud to have this on your front page! And look at those 15 favorites. I bow down in awe :-) |
