Orange Abstractby snafflesComment: Susan, I love the lighting here, really good idea. I think you got hurt because the oranges aren't quite in focus, and DPC is very unforgiving in that area in general. Not sure if you used a tripod, but if not, almost impossible to get sharp focus handheld at 1/4. |

Fruit Salad, anyone?by levyj413Comment: Jeffrey, when voting I found this to be a solid entry, though maybe not inspired. I do think it has a humorous appeal, especially with the banana ears, but the overhead lighting is pretty harsh. Kudos for the diagonal composition, adds a creative touch.

Gazing upon our own reflectionby posthumousComment: Don, you are always counted upon to be original. Although I admit I'm not wild about part of the foreground (lighting is too harsh IMO), I think the background is brilliant. |

My two servings for the dayby bmartuchComment: I thought this was a very good entry, and although it's a solid score, I expected it would finish much higher. I think you did a fantastic job with the lighting, colors and composition. Very well done all around! |

Eden Fallsby griz210Comment: Nice job with the long exposure and whites. The icicles add an interesting element to this shot as well. The only thing I wish is that there were more of a total focal point - I'd really like to see the area where the water spills over the top of the cliff. Nice job, though, especially with a tough subject. |

BAAADby seeComment: I get a real chuckle out of this, maybe because it reminds me of a lot of guys I knew in high school/college. Not that many women don't also appreciate classic cars. :-)
Creative take on the challenge, nice sharp focus, nothing wrong with the technicals aside from area of blown lighting, which other commenters have already noted.
That being said, I think this is a photo that appeals mainly to those who appreciate these types of cars - which is reflected in your scores.
If you buy it, enjoy tearing up the Utah roads with this baaaaaad piece of machinery!

Denim Bluesby kashiComment: I've got to commend you - it took a pair to enter this shot. Of jeans, that is :-) That aside, I'm not sure what emotion you were aiming to convey. Although the act itself would be interpreted by many as sexy, the feeling is more utilitarian. Which maybe was your point. Fingers look a little oversharpened on my screen, but the focus is dead on. Interesting entry! |

Waitingby RetroesqueComment: Truly lovely. The shadows from the bicycles, the interaction of the people and the sunburst add up to a terrific composition. |
