Well Deb, I was one of your higher scores, and think this is underrated. Of course, I love cats, and I know some people are biased against them. I actually think this would sell well - it is the type of thing I would buy, at least. Great photo!

Christian - I like how some of the fingers look like fingers, and others like skeleton hands. This is a very interesting idea, with cool colors. The composition could be a bit stronger - I read from your comments that you threw it together at the last minute (pretty impressive for a one hour effort). Hope you'll do it again and post in your portfolio.

I felt when voting that there was somthing slightly askew on the perspective and that it may be just a tad underexposed. However, I love the blue line of windows - adds a lot of drama. It's an interesting shot with a lot of potential.

Don - I was one of your higher votes in this challenge. I like the spooky feel tremendously. The best part is that it is impossible to judge the relative size of the silo, which adds to the drama. Well done!

Deb, this is lovely! The light has that "magic hour" glow, and you did a great job of not oversaturating the greens.

Question: what made you choose the square crop? I'd be curious to see the original photo!

I imagine this would have done very well in the FS, incidentally. You must have something pretty good up your sleeve if this was second choice :-)

This is a really lovely shot. The colors are so vivid, and the focus is spot-on! One minor detail to enhance - I would recommend going to the pixel level in photoshop and cloning out the thin grey line that surrounds everything. It probably came from sharpening.

I think you would have done very well in a contest with this. Hope you'll consider shooting again and entering.
