Memoriesby HipychikComment: Hi Hipychik - the contrast is really pleasing here, and I like the textures and shapes, especially the star on top of the silo. I agree with Muckpond that it feels a little skewed, though. |

Black and White - Day 8by alexjackComment: Lovely, the sepia on this really works! The lines are gorgeous, but maybe a little burning right on the shoreline would add more DOF? Anway, very well done. |

Day 8 - Defending a Cornerby jonfrommkComment: This is a great sports action photo! The netting adds a really artistic touch. Bet you have a fearsome entry for sports :-) Great job. |

Wright Flyer Three-Viewby posthumousComment: I really like it - I gave you a good score. So very odd, though maybe a peyote button or agave in the foreground would have added that extra touch (I'm just kidding). Plus the best - we actually get to see what the mysterious Skewsme a 'la Colleen looks like! |

Day 4 - Bridge, Stormby Bruce_the_RobertComment: This immediately made me think of concentration camps - the famous photo of the tracks leading into Auschwitz. I suspect the reason is that the photo is so deliberatly dark. It is very well done. The contrast is excellent and the emotive is penetrating and captivating. |

Day 6.jpgby edmengComment: These windmills lend themselves so nicely to b&w, and the lines are nicely seen and captured. I'm wondering if there might be even one notch too much contrast here? Not really a criticism, though, more of a musing. I like this one very much. |

8by sevilduvarciComment: Very well seen. I'm impressed with how much emotive comes across with just that mysterious tidbit of hand. Unique and artistic. |

itby PhilComment: Definitely an instance where image grain adds to the photo. I also like the perspective you chose a lot. I think the photo might be cleaner without the stray bits of furniture leaning against the staircase - they look incidental, not deliberate. Still a most worthy effort. |
