Crackedby HipychikComment: Terry, this is really beautiful. Congrats on the top 10, too! I love the background color choice. It very much compliments the shell. |

Sunrise on Marsby levyj413Comment: Jeffrey, I had no idea you were even going to enter this, LOL. I do recognize the shell from previous challenges, however. I like the composition here. Howdy neighbor indeed! |

Last gasp by MilesWComment: This is truly one of the most amazing photos I've seen on this site. I cannot believe how well done it is. |

On Golden Pondby NeilComment: Neil, this is a beautiful photo that did quite well in a very, very tough competition. The water looks absolutely golden! I think the only issue may be the DOF - the OOF area in the back area of the water draws my eye away from the subject a bit in this case. By the way, I'm assuming you didn't mean to add "military" as one of your galleries in this. |

Precious water. Thank you for not wasting it. by h2Comment: Oliver, you are really on a roll lately. You smashed your dream score out of the water I see, no pun intended. This is a very interesting shot. The tulip almost looks like it is in a mirror instead of a refracted drop. I don't think the refracted drop looks odd at all, though the tiny stem portion coming out of the faucet does give me pause. It's so minute that it doesn't detract, however. |

Antediluvian Perspectiveby hahn23Comment: Richard, this is absolutely gorgeous - I can't believe this one wasn't on the front page. What a tough competition, with lots of amazing entries, but this one still stands out to me! |

Happy to see me? No, guess not.by MelethiaComment: Deb, this is a great photo, but it sure didn't fit the challenge. But you almost got that coveted brown! Which is kind of a pity, as it is actually an excellent photo. Should have entered it in macro w/out bugs or flowers. :-) Edit to add: maybe I'm just not perverted enough, but I didn't even see the little penises until I read your remarks. I think the title should have clued me in. Pretty funny. Message edited by author 2008-04-16 11:37:10. |
