I really like this one! I'm sorry the voters didn't give what I think it deserves because it would have been in the top few if they had. I love the gritty feel of it. Your son -- and you -- did great!

Grog has question... How to open shiny metal fruit to get food? Grog try smashing with rock, but make mess. Food all over cave walls now. Thag laugh at grog for licking cave walls.

Nice idea with a twist all your own. Not wild about the processing. But that's just me, I'm sure. Six.

I don't know what the original photo is, but this is really amazing. The mood is sublime. My first 10.

An awesome modernization of the the original. You replicated the components (minus the glasses, but could that be the TV ala pearing into the world?) The image stands on it's own as a slice of modern life yet has all the touchstones and depth of the original

I like your choice for this challenge. I think everyone's grandparents had this portrait hanging on the wall somewhere in the house. I like your twist on the portrait too with the urban theme. It really shows how far removed current society is from the spiritual foundations of our forefathers. A Comic Book and a TV replaces the bible and the can of food and crackers depicts just how far removed from the land we are. I would love for you to redo this to appear closer to the portait rather than with the HDR look. A nice black background and some softer focus would be great. At any rate. I enjoyed your photo.

Very interesting take on Enstrom. You look almost as reverent and I love the fact you went all the way with making it modern .. no bible, loaf of bread and so on. Creatively done,

A wonderful, modern take on the original. A bit oversharpened for my taste, but the feeling is still there. Well done!
