Water Wayby StructorComment: a bit underexposed in my opinion. Nice scene and great leading lines though. |

Roll Out The Barrelby BigJohnsonComment: great shot. Horizon needs to be levelled and I'd crop out more of the sky perhaps even showing just the falls. |

Creamby MartyComment: Greetings from the Critique Club!
I can really see potential in this image but its a really hard concept to pull off. You need to have just the right lighting set up to separate your subject from the background when they are both the same color. Its even more important when you have one subject and a flat background like this. I'd be curious to see this with a bit more light and more white than brown/cream.
I am assuming you used flash based on your comments. I would have either increased the output of the flash or went with a larger aperture because this does seem a bit underexposed. (Based on the noise I'd guess it was quite underexposed then brightened in post-processing). Perhaps with a larger aperture you'd get a shallower depth of field and create more of a feeling of depth. |

The Weddingby boone168Comment: Greetings from the Critique Club!
As a previous commenter indicated there is just too much going on in this image. Yes it is central but there is no subject per se. Your eye is taken all over the frame. Simple is always better. For a staged shot like this start with one item or element and add to it incrementally. All of these items are interesting by themselves but together they compete for the viewers interest making chaos. Looking through your profile your image "Butterflies" works well because it is simple. |
