Navigating the Urban Jungleby Breeee123Comment: Nice shot but it doesn't say landscape to me. It looks more like a portrait or a glamour shot. (albeit a well done one). If you had used a longer exposure we might have a better view of what is behind her. Of course she'd have to stay perfectly still... |

NYCby J-AndyComment: Nice strong silhouette here. Cropping off a little off the bottom and showing more sky would be good. |

Home aloneby zirkovicComment: To be honest this kinda creeps me out. Its like Babyzilla staring at me! Also, it doesn't really say landscape to me. |

Other Side of the Tracksby IAmMoenComment: Getting better exposure on the train on the left would have really helped. The sky is muted already so let it blow out. The context of this scene is what we really need here to make this more effective. |

Sticks and Stonesby jdannelsComment: Interest foreground interest you created here. The lights are nice in this scen. The reflections work well. Too bad about the plane in the sky |

Love in Manhattanby desertbonComment: Not really a landscape per se. Needs a bit of straighening in my opinion. Its a touching scene and fairly well composed. It just needs some more oompf |

a night above the cityby guitarmaniacComment: Interesting but not overly so. Taking a picture out of a plane window is okay for wrapping up a trip but its hard to get an effective picture at night. You have the plane's vibration to deal with not to mention its motion. You are also shooting through a heck of a lot of glass. Consequently its hard to get a shot you are really going to be happy with. (i.e sharp with good exposure and composition). |

Anglesby cathysappComment: Needs some straightening I think. I am not sure what to think of the black triangle jutting into the frame in the top right. The lamp post also seems to somewhat blend in so I am left sort of wondering what it is. A bit more contrast would add a bit of punch to the sky which already looks pretty good. Interesting subject and the title suits it well. |

I hate it when the kid gives you the "my cheeks can touch my ears!" fake smile. Especially when they close their eyes! :)
Looks like you did a good job and I hope you, the parents, and the child had fun during the shoot. |
