Robert, I hope she's up and normal again tomorrow. I used to hate it when the norm was interrupted, because you know how sick they were if they were acting differently.
It is a beautiful shot. I hope you make sure it goes in her album. My babies are now 26 and 24 years old and I love to look back on these glimpses in time.

Love the diversity in this shot: the ramshackle, the newer buildings; and the newer windows, the broken old windows.
I especially care for the beautiful lighting: the lovely highlight/shadows on the kayaker; the pops of light on the windows, etc.

The color version is very pretty and pastel, however, the b/w version is very nice. I like the splash of freckles that still came thru in the desaturated version.
