Soldiers Powered by Your Child's Imagination. Non-Rechargeable.by raishComment: Excellent idea. OOBIE worthy! I think the other commenters have done a good job of figuring out how to improve the shot, and why it didn't score well. Focus always has a lot to do with the score. I'm still struggling with this 'too busy' thing in my own photos. I have yet to understand when or why something is too busy. I think the thing that is the most distracting here is the crop at the bottom that nicks off the bottom of the primary object. |

IMG_Snake.jpgby noranekoComment: I think it's fascinating, and I can hardly stop looking at it. I'm not sure whether it is my tired eye or the the image, but the focus seems to be a little soft on the head and eyes. I love the tongue and wish I could see the tips of it. |

Three Speed Boyfriendby lkn4truthComment: Here's my response to your side note above about being ticked off by the 24 '1' votes.
In my opinion it was tasteless, immature, and a lousy photo. It deserved a 1 from me, and I thought it only fair to give you an explanation. I noticed that, of all the '1's you got, I was the only voter to tell you why I voted that way. You could easily have put any vibrator, or other battery operated device in place of the dildo. It was unnecessary from an artistic stand point and IMO was done purely for the shock factor. Believe me, I am old enough, and experienced enough to not be shocked by such things. And I appreciate a beautiful nude as much as anyone.
I disagree with those who said the lighting was good - the highlights were blown out. The composition was only mediocre. On it's technical merit alone I might have given it a 4. But there is more to art and photography than just technical merit. Subjective reaction is always a factor in a viewer's opinion of a work of art. So there you have my full opinion. If you can't take your knocks, then don't put your work out for public reaction. |

Bridgeby VanBergenComment: This is a very pretty scene and composition. I think I would like it better with less saturation. |

Supersoft Supermodelby AllyrelliaComment: The image is a little too small for me to be able to judge it well. I like the subject, colors, and composition, but can't tell about the quality. It looks a little noisy in the background. I think this would probably score higher if you used the full allowable size. |
