Primary Colorsby levyj413Comment: That guy in red has a lot of nerve entering that blue territory. The blue "gang" looks rather off-putting.
I really like the shot. The colors are great, the focus, light, and composition are excellent. There is interest in the subject matter. I don't know why it didn't score higher, maybe because it is too colorful for the average voters concept of street photography. I gave it a 7. Message edited by author 2007-03-02 07:47:23. |

Pear tree in winterby snafflesComment: Holy smokes, you should get some sort of special sucker for no comments at all. I guess no one cares about that gentle reminder to comment on the shots you are scoring lower than 4.
Anyway, I think this is a marvelous old tree, the voters should have had a little more respect for it. The focus seems a little soft, and there isn't anything else of interest in the shot. That may be why the score was low. |

1 2 treeby clangley50Comment: This is lovely. A very nice composition, a beautiful tree and a beautiful sky. I'm surprised it didn't score higher. But hey, it made it onto your profile page, so that's a good thing. |

34th St.by The_DentistComment: Beautiful shot. Nice tone and contrast, and excellent composition. There is so much to look at here, yet it doesn't come across as busy. You seem to have quite a knack for street photography. I'm looking forward to seeing more of your work. |

Great Blue Heronby ArpeggioAngelComment: Very nice color, light, and detail. I would prefer a wider crop, giving the bird a little breathing room. |

Thanks for your comment Jason. I am going to see if there is a way I can change the aspect ratio of my shots to 4x6. I have been frustrated several times by the 4x3 format that I am currently using. |
