I actually stood in the middle of the street and took this shot.

ADDED:
It is true this lady does have a "Handicapped/Wheelchair" parking sticker. She's had quadruple bypass, stents, diabetes, just to name a few. People get sickers for Heart conditions and for being overweight, too. I truly appreciate all comments and glad to give you some enjoyment.

I will admit that this was partially "staged". It is a real car with a real sticker, down the street from my dear mother, who was willing to model in a half hour's notice. I have no idea whose Hummer it was. I shot it handheld, almost ran out of sunlight. Yes, she was using the wrong hand, she does have two arms and drives a Toyota Camry, and will be 84 in May. She was in my Free Study, "Somewhere in Time"

The streets were totally bare on an extremely cold Sunday evening. I guess I could have "camped out" in the cold and waited for the real owner to appear. I am willing to bet top dollar that some photos of the most famous genre of Street Photographers may have been staged.

I love the handicap pass in the window. Hopefully she has an escalator to climb in.

Hmmmmm Ohio.... and snow.... John or Tim or Aimee or Tate... the only other Ohioans I know of here (maybe there is more?). This is HILARIOUS. Where is her fancy leather jacket to go with the hummer? Love it!

at first the shot seems very ordinary...you think the old lady is just touching the handle for this shot only. Then you see the handicap license on the rear-view mirror. LOL - how in the heck does a handicapped person get IN?? nice catch!

This is so weird. How is a handicapped person supposed to climb up into a Hummer? Not to mention trudge through the snow drifts. Good capture -- it says a lot.

funny scene. would have liked to seen it straight on, her sitting behind the wheel with the hummer logo and the handicap sticker. now i get the point, but it just falls a bit short with me as something i would mark as a favorite.

even has the dissabled badge in the window, a very determind look on her face, it looks as though she may not have a right arm, could be wrong, but I would have opened the door with my left hand, and I can't see a right hand in the photo.10

somewhat frightening prospect! the contrast between the huge Hummer and the frail-looking little old lady really makes this shot. 8
