The lighting is beautiful and completely conveys the feel of a quiet reading retreat. I don't like the pink book in the chair. but I agree there needs to be something in the chair to appeal to the viewer, e.g.a small child reading in a large chair, because the chair itself isn't very interesting.

I like the colors and the tone of this image. The fire in the stove is very inviting. With the tightness of the setup, there doesn't seem to be room for anyone to sit and relax, and the chair is not inviting since it has the lace on the seat and is already full of objects. Also the back of the chair is too the fire, which seem unnatural. I think there is too much here. Either a cozy inviting scene, or just the still life with the chair and objects might have worked better.

I love your bed and quilt, and the cat is beautiful. The whole composition comes together very nicely, and the light gives the photo a lovely morning mood. (Seems too early in the morning for the bed to be made up.) The object(s) on the nightstand cast a nice shadow that is good for the composition, but I find them distracting because I can't tell what they are.
