This is a wonderful shot, Karen. You got a good score for it, but I think it should have done even better. Terrific focus and lovely colors. Not easy to catch one of those busy bees.

I can't tell what that is that's 'floating' in the upper left corner, yet I think it is significant to the image. I like the feel/mood of the shot, and don't mind the grain and darkness.

Focus

Jeff, this is a wonderful shot. I can't imagine why anyone would rate it 1 or 3 unless they were mixed up about the rating scale -- thinking 1 it top. The focus on the needle is dead on. Perhaps some people wanted the focus on her eyes. Something about the hands doesn't look quite right, maybe too much noise reduction and sharpening. Anyway, I really like the concentration in her face, and the eyes crossed trying so hard to see the eye of the needle.
