Learning to Fly by DudskiComment: That's some beautiful processing you did, to bring out those rich colors and the lovely DOF. The rule of thirds served you well too. Congratulations on your ribbon and your beautiful photo of a beautiful scene. |

seven come elevenby SkipComment: I really like your image. The b&w is great, and I like the angle and the action. However, I don't see the seven items needed to meet the challenge. |

Self-Seeded Pansy in the Rainby raishComment: Lovely image. I find blue flowers so difficult to capture effectively. I like the composition, the rich tones, and the light. Congratulations on your new PB. |

Bi-annual Tune-upby GreetmirComment: I think you did a good job on the electronics insertion. I wonder if there is a way you might be able to use Bevel and Contour to create the inset effect. Maybe you could have done that manually. They use screen and multiply on the edges to create the bevel. I find the watch and even the ring distracting and out of place. Noise reduction could be used to give the skin a little more plastic/artificial look. |

Ahead of the packby kashiComment: For one thing, it looks like he's going the wrong way. In all the races I've seen, the horses go counterclockwise around the track. But that has nothing to do with the quality of the photo. I think you captured a great bit of action, with the tail flying, the weight of the horse so far forward, and the dirt spraying behind his hooves. The details of the horse and rider seem to be somewhat lost in the harsh contrast. It seems a good fit for the solo challenge. |

Clones For Saleby posthumousComment: What an idea. They really do look like they are in a carton, kind of like a box of Christmas ornaments. I love the way you use the expert editing rules. |

A Solemn Welcomeby WildcardComment: What a wonderful picture. The color and lighting are beautiful. And you made the great huge eyes look so natural. I'd love to know how you did that. No wonder you got such a high score, and so close to a ribbon. This was such a high scoring challenge, the competition was extreme. But, hey, 4th place it great. Congratulations!!! |
