You've opened Pandora's box. You're going to have to learn good sportsmanship now.

I think it's nice you chose to mark the occasion with this shot. The white balance seems to be on the yellowish side - maybe tweak it a bit in RAW before converting?

Well, for all of you who took this the wrong way, I apologize, I guess I just wasn't good at conveying that this was a proud Papa showing off his little princess.

This was also the lowest score I've had in a very long time!

At least you remembered to take off the lens cap!
Let's see now. How many of these similar shots have been posted on this and other sites? Lost track.
Seriously, best of luck, and a welcome from another newbie!
Nice clean fingernails, btw.

I'm happy that you got a new camera and a dpc membership, but that doesn't make this any better of an image. The lighting isn't particarlly interesting, the composition works, but doesn't have a lot of the DPC wow factor. Now if this was a new Canon...jk.

Seems out of focus and besides it's a very boring shot isn't it really?
Bring on the creativity from now on! :P

Enjoy that camera and welcome to DPC! Not a *wow* photo, but this is a neat way to introduce yourself. :)
