The comfort of momby bmartuchComment: What a beautiful child and a tender moment. Lovely light and soft focus. I like the colors too. I'm really surprised this didn't score at least in the mid fives. |

Eveningby raishComment: I understand this is evening, but I really would like to be able to see this lovely scene better. I love the composition. |

Swallowtailby noranekoComment: Well, you know I love butterflies, and what can I say, this is exquisite. The butterfly is in perfect condition, the focus and color are great, and I really like the composition. The soft green background really off-sets the subject. |

Intensityby levyj413Comment: Oooo, very impressionistic. I like the angle of your subject and the soft blur - which is very obviously intentional. And even in that blurred state, your daughter is still beautiful. |

Beaconingby posthumousComment: He looks locked away in a tower prison -- an unfortunate, lonely, little prince reaching out for human contact. Sort of makes me think of the way severe depression can keep a person trapped and isolated even on the sunniest day. I really like the b&w, the light, and the lines of this image. Nice composition. |

Leapby xianartComment: With the girl in that position and the boats in the background, I am reminded of a figurehead. It's a wonderful and strange capture. I think I would like it better without the bit of girl on the right. |

Old Country Roadby HipychikComment: For a minute, I thought this was the place Bob took me on the morning we met for breakfast. But then I noticed the road, which wasn't in Bob's place. I love what you have done with these colors. The shot is a little frightening, as if the power lines and structures have come to life and are taking over. Actually we really have been taken over by electricity. Excellent. |
