I was just exploring your portfolio when I found this gem. I love the color, action, and joy. It is such a beautiful, nostalgic, glimpse into wholesome childhood play. I'm surprised this was challenged. I wonder what brought it to the attention of the SC for DQ. Oh well, the DQ doesn't change the fact that it's a beautiful shot.

P.S. The nails at the base really make this composition for me. Three elements: the leaf, the wood planks, and the nails.

Beautiful colors, and very nice textures. The shallow depth of field bothers me a bit because of the large OOF area in the foreground. But I see by your notes that you already know that. Still I like this image a lot.
