This is an unusual angle. I don't know why she is squatting down. If there had been a little shovel and a plant, or something that looked like there was a reason for her to be kneeling, I would like it better. But you captured a very nice and relaxed expression, and it makes me smile. I imaging Krissy will like this a lot.

I seem to remember this cabin and wild flower field from another photo you posted. It's a beautiful spot. I love the processing on this image. It's amazing how much you were able to pull from the darkness of the cabin and trees.

Brian, I really like this image. I gave it a 7 during voting. I thought you had used a gradient map adjustment layer to get the effect. I often play with that layer myself. It's interesting to read about your processing. At any rate, no matter how you did it, I like the product. It would be great in very large format on a wall in a modern loft.

Marvelous. How did you get the clouds to radiate out from the barn like that? :) I love the very soft colors of this shot and the gentle contrast. Nice going to resist the DPC influence of contrasty, over-saturated images. And it scored well in spite of that. Congratulations.
