Dave, I never guessed this was yours. I like the humor and expression on the model. The problem, and the reason I didn't give it a very high score, is the lighting. While the flash will help you capture a fun moment, it won't usually produce a high quality image. But, hey, someone chose it as a favorite, so you never can tell. If you aren't ready to invest in an expensive flash attachment you might consider this diffuser. It's not the final answer, but it definitely helps.

What a model! How can you go wrong?! Oh, by messing up the download. Too bad about the DQ, but as far as I'm concerned, it doesn't matter. You still have a very fun shot of Svetlana. Great expression. I like what you have done with the eyes -- real surprise there.

I got a kick out of this entry, with the idea that someone would deliberately send you down a dead end. Hmmm, sort of a good metaphor for a number of situations. I like the processing for this shot -- looks cold and gray, and definitely not a time when you want to be lost.

Beautiful eye, and you did a great job of capturing it. It looks like gold filigree. I noticed that the voters in general don't seem to like reptilian and amphibian eyes very much. I think they are amazing.

I really like the lines and colors of the horn of plenty and pillow. I think the paper plate spoils the image, because everything else has such nice warmth and texture. I like the lighting too.
