Silly Wabbit, P&S Challengeby MelonMusketeerComment: Oh my goodness, this is really interesting. It looks like it is still an embryo. Do you raise rabbits, or did you find this? You must have used a macro setting. This is a very clear closeup. Message edited by author 2008-04-24 23:43:37. |

Dark Sky with Gulls #3 P&Sby robinssongComment: Lovely. There is an odd feeling about this. Because of the darkness, it feels like a bright moonlight shot. But the birds wouldn't be standing around at night. I like the way the birds and the tree stand out against the lightest part of the sky. |

Day 4 - men on the bridgeby GinaRothfelsComment: I like the curve and the colors. It's an odd thing, because I can't really understand what it is. I doesn't seem very high, because the street light is there. And the interesting glass panel with paper stuck on it doesn't seem to belong. Nice lines, and lots to wonder about. |

Day 4by tpbremerComment: I really like what you have done here, both in the capture and the pp. Very pleasing warm color, and interesting subject (haven't seen film in a long time). |

Day 4: White Flowersby bobonacusComment: Gorgeous -- the focus, the detail, the DOF, the light, the composition, the colors. I don't have any suggestions. |

wire.jpgby sulamkComment: I like the composition and the various implications of the image. I think of being in prison and only getting a peep at the sky. The noise is definitely the first thing I saw when it opened. If harsh is what you are going for, then I think the noise is fine. If you consider it a distraction, there are several ways to get rid of it. Any of the noise reduction add-ons would do. But I suspect it came from the b&w conversion. An interesting experiment would be to put a hue/sat layer below the b&w conversion layer and play with the hue sliders for blue and cyan (assuming the sky was blue). some sheepby tnunComment: I love it. It made me smile and chuckle when it opened. I like the textures and the composition, and the expressions of the sheep -- one looks quite aloof and the other looks like you have intruded. I think this image would benefit from further adjustment. Lots of ways to make it pop: Levels, exposure (adjusting the offset and gamma), curves in Soft Light mode, etc. I'd say play with it a bit, because this is a great capture. |

Brown Bug P&S challenge day 3by MelonMusketeerComment: Nice clear detail in this shot. I wonder what kind of butterfly that is. I like the way the brown buds(?) seem almost 3-D
P.S. I think burning the edges of the image slightly, would be the icing on the cake. Message edited by author 2008-04-23 23:14:17. |

Day 3by tpbremerComment: I pretty much agree with the group. The b&w is good. I also think the hands are a bit too light, but I realize you don't want the image to be flat and dull. |

tree.jpgby sulamkComment: I like the image you were going after -- the contrasting light, the various greens, and the shapes and textures. The soft focus on the tree bothers me, because my eyes strain to get it clear, but I like the blur in the background. |
