7 to 1by jaysonmcComment: I like the negative space in this shot. It gives the feel of a live performance on a large stage. She is quite accomplished -- what strength it must take to hold that pose. |

pickles.jpgby icu1965Comment: Sweet face. I think the background is distracting. Don't know what you could have done with it during capture, but if you wanted to spend time on it, a gausian blur would make the dog really stand out. I love manipulating the backgrounds, but too much of that isn't legal in the advanced rules. |

Day 9by tpbremerComment: I like it the way it is. With a black background the subject wouldn't stand out, and I like that nice green of the pencil sharpener. I think it would work in b&w or sepia, but I think something would be lost too. |

Day 9: Water Droppletsby bobonacusComment: I like it. Hard to imagine this pleasing image came from that coffee tray. I applaud your creativity. BTW, I have a gorilla pod too and find it very useful. |

lightby tnunComment: Love the duotone look of this. The light is beautiful. I would take that shot everyday if it was near me. You must love all the subtle differences you see each day. |

small frogby tnunComment: Beautiful color, focus, and texture, and an adorable subject. I really like this shot. Could use a little noise reduction in the background. |

take offby tnunComment: My eye is drawn immediately to the plane, and then to the trailing spray. I like the scene, but I am distracted by the noisy sky. Having the horizon on the 1/3 line instead of 1/4 might balance the composition a little better. |
