Daisiesby WildcardComment: Interesting experiment with the Vaseline. I like the blurred vignette. I wish the girl stood out more from the rest of the image. I would like to see her with more contrast, and smoother skin. Maybe not possible with basic editing, but might be worth reworking without that restriction. She's a pretty girl and I love what you have done with the daisies. |

Daddy's Girlby NikonJebComment: She's a pretty girl and nice gentle expression. I like the soft lighting. I am distracted by what seems to be over-sharpening along the edge of her teeth, nose, and hair highlights. |

Left of centerby quiet_observationComment: Ha, I like your composition! You got it all in: reads the newspaper, participates in civic events, not focused on fashion and the superficial, of a certain age (as evidenced by the hands). This is a portrait of a whole segment of the American population rather than an individual. Time for an OOBie. |

Frecklesby HipychikComment: Nice, Terry. I like the close crop, the angle of the face, and the sharp focus. I find it quite hard to do a good portrait without spot editing, and I applaud the image you have achieved under the basic rules. |

Troublesby figaroComment: What a disturbing and painful image. This shot really has a lot to say. I hope she's not as troubled as she appears in the image. Well done. |

Deathby meyersComment: Congratulations on the top 10 placement. Very interesting subject. The background really sets her off and complements her style. |

134.jpgby BujanxComment: This surprised me when I opened the image. From the thumbnail I was expecting an insect. How special to be able to observe beavers in the wild -- as long as they are not cutting down your trees or flooding your yard. Nice shot. I like the way he is looking straight at you. |

wildthings1.jpgby icu1965Comment: This is interesting. I wish I could see a bit more of it. I wonder if you could crop it closer and still maintain good detail. |
