Would Like to Come Back on a Super Yachtby BrianRComment: I had a little trouble understanding the title, but I think the idea of the recycling bin and the bottle is really good. I like the simplicity of the shot and the clean b&w conversion. The composition is what makes this image special. |

Sustainable Recyclingby raishComment: I think the processing and the border are cool. They transform a mundane scene into a futuristic, almost robotic, image. I think I would have liked it even better without the green -- it's too warm -- but I like the touches of cold blue. Maybe if the hue of the trees was changed into something cold too, they would fit the rest of the image better. Message edited by author 2008-07-07 06:26:33. |

Wrathby WildcardComment: This is sooo cool, with the fire outlining the silhouette of the man. It almost looks like he is on fire, which is so appropriate for wrath. Wrath is such a burning uncontrollable emotion. I really think this is excellent. |

Envyby KelliComment: Great idea, but I'm sure the focus must have hurt your score. The heavier woman seems to have some sort of motion blur rather than a softness from a shallow DOF. And everything seems over sharpened. |

hopeby raishComment: What a beautiful child, and never is there more hope than with a new child. Very beautiful portrait, and I don't agree that there is too much going on. Showing part of the adult seems important, since it is the adult, not the child, who has the hope in this situation. I like it. |

Single Coiled Ropeby sherpetComment: Well done, Shez! I don't know about down under, but here state side a rope like that is called a line. So it is perfect for the challenge, and it seems almost everyone agreed with me. Nice simple image with the very special tuft to top it off. With a score like that you should have been in the top ten. Too bad, but still a very good placement. Congratulations. |

Youth vs. Wisdomby KelliComment: Congratulations, Kelli, on your new top row entry. Your handsome husband and sweet son make great subjects. I'd like to see more of them. |
