Heelsby MelethiaComment: Very interesting effect and nice composition. I like 'Feet2' also, but I think this composition, with the position of the train, is better. What I think is particularly interesting about this shot is seeing the man following the high heels. |

time for funby posthumousComment: I really like the composition and the colors. Now that the challenge is over, I hope you will give it some adjustments to bring out the colors more and increase the contrast. There is a thread for showing before and after editing for this challenge. |

L I M Eby Bear_MusicComment: Nice muted colors. The crop feels a bit off to me -- lime a bit too centered and bottom edge snipped off. But I like the image as a whole. |

The Screamby raishComment: Great idea, Peter, and well done. You've done variations of The Scream before. Is there something you are trying to tell us? :/ |

Mother with stroller and childby Bruce_the_RobertComment: Oooo, this is what I like!! I gave it a 9. I wish more people agreed with me. It doesn't make me dizzy at all -- probably because I am not trying to bring it into focus. I just enjoy the lines, colors, shades and general composition -- all of which I like. |

Still with Motion a Moving Vessel. by BrianRComment: You almost got the 'Momentary Lapse of Sucking' punishment! Hard to believe this was straight from the camera -- the color, focus, and exposure are all so perfect. I really like the colors and the reflections. Thanks for sharing the camera settings. |

Advance_Editing-1913.jpgby Moose408Comment: Much better, especially the crop. The white balance adjustment really helps too. There are still a few spots in the background that could be cleaned up. And maybe taking it all the way to B&W would help. This still seems a little pinkish. |

DSC_0036 basic edit.jpgby smichenerComment: I like this much better. I thought I would like the darker one better, because of the nature of the subject, but this image really pops -- beautiful contrast. |

Swinging Into Oblivionby timfythetooComment: I think I like the softer look of the original. The horizontal flip will probably work better for most people who prefer action to travel from left to right. (I'm dyslexic, so I don't care about left and right.) |

trees with moonby tnunComment: You got robbed by a bunch of know-it-alls who tried to second guess your exposure time. If they had checked your EXIF data, they would have seen the 1/2 sec. shutter speed. I like the shot and think the moon is lovely, and the silhouette of the trees is just right. I can see the trees clearly on my monitor. (And I can see the full range of shades in the scale below the image on the voting page too. So I think someone else's monitor needs calibrating.) |
