Bit of the Irish in her.by BrennanOBComment: Beautiful portrait of a lovely girl. Photography is a wonderful way to capture a fleeting moment. A photo burns the memory ever deeper into our consciousness each time we view it. |

Owl Butterflyby JuliBocComment: Yes the eye is striped in all the photos of the Owl Butterflies. Seems weird. |

CJE_20060511-4-pic.jpgby justamistereComment: This is a lovely tribute. I'm so sorry you lost your son so soon. He sounds and looks like a fine young man. I can tell from your post in the thread about my daughter, that you are still suffering from this loss. But take heart, a good friend of mine, who lost her son, promised me that the current feelings of grief will eventually be replaced by the memories you choose to keep. I believe her. |

A Legend In His Own Mindby HipychikComment: Really like the style you gave this. The processing really makes the man seem like part of the statuary. I like your story too. |

Beachedby EstimatedEyesComment: I like your choice. This photo has an interesting subject that makes me stop and look for a while. And the colors, textures, clarity, and composition are all very nice. Great DOF to have the background so clearly defined as well as the texture of the beach in the foreground. |

IMG_4167.JPGby vawendyComment: What a great idea to get a clean background. Your photo is beautiful. I'm sorry your software messed you up. I've never had a problem with Photoshop changing the original when I 'save as', but I found two other pitfalls while processing:
1. anything that automatically imports or copies your pix from your camera will add a stamp.
2. Windows viewer will modify the original if you rotate the image to see it in the portrait orientation. |
