Very scary situation. I'm glad you told us the cars are parked. But as it is, the dog looks so lost and confused and in such danger. Quite heart wrenching. And I love the light on the pavement which highlights the dog.

Duck and Ducklings

These little ducklings are darling. I so cute to see them snuggling up under the mother. Too bad the background is so busy and so similar in color to the ducks.

I use my Power Shot for wildlife too, because I lose too many opportunities by not having the right lens when I use a DSLR. Still bothered by the noise, but I'd rather capture the shot and deal with the problems later.
