Stunning - delicate, mysterious, beautiful control of light. Would just not have used a "burnt" border...doesn't lend much to the theme or title.

(shouldn't that be "hallowed") - nice atmosphere and quiet.

Powerful image that really makes an impact. Grain definitely belongs as part of the image.

Tee hee - I tousled with using the same title for my image. Well done!!! Clever lighting tricks to circumvent the Basic Editing rules.

Wow - there is so much grain it almost goes beyond being photographic. Perhaps a photo found in a shoe box in some attic, of a lake visited on some holiday in the 1920's...

This has so much story in it - minimal and yet it looks like the opening scene to some raw, Human Drama film (art circuit naturally). Sigh. What I find particularly unusual is the sepia and lightness of the image.

You should do a series of these (unless you have already) - a visual poem that takes us on a journey. I would love to hang about five of them in a line across my living room and just gaze and think and suppose...

And now this is being particularly gushy, but I love the largish white spots in the left foreground - "faults" that add to the authenticity.

Love this.
