	When Angels Visit... by cynthiann Comment: Nice and sharp for a perfect angel pose. For some reason the background keeps grabbing my eye ... maybe the brightness of the horizon ... might be able to use a gradient filter to tone that down.

	High flying Vulture by BeckyT Comment: Like the composition and eye contact. Maybe a bit darker on the face and body than I'd like but looks like the top of his head was in bright sun which makes the exposure tough.

	Mallard Duck by ladpupmoe Comment: Mallards are common but I still think they're pretty with those iridescent heads. This one is showing up a little too dark on my screen to see facial detail; I'd dodge or otherwise lighten that up to better show him off.

	Seagull, Laguna Beach Tide Pools by bspurgeon Comment: Lovely portrait. Pretty light and detail and a straight-on pose which looks quite classic. Like the B&W for this, too.

	Cardinal by Steef Comment: Beautiful detail and he's looking right at me! Might like it better without the foreground branches but it's a natural scene and I know you have to take what you can get.
