I think I've used that title before ;-) Pretty colors. I'd probably prefer that the main flower not have OOF foreground areas, but I'm rarely a fan of OOF foreground elements.

I like the idea of the buds/flower in various stages of development, and the colors are not overdone. That particular type of flower is just so showy, though, that it rather overpowers the buds, even being OOF. I like it, but I'd probably prefer it with most of the open flower cropped out. JMO.

Nice detail and I like the soothing green of the background. The abdomen being a foreground OOF element bothers me a little; I think it would work better if the perspective were such that the abdomen was fading into ther background. Assuming you could direct your subject ;-)
