Had to google Hoffman; am assuming you are referencing the one who created LSD. Not a terribly trippy picture, though. You appear to be holding a letter and maybe sunk down in despair over its contents, but there's an awful lot of bookcase and that must be there for a reason ... maybe I found the wrong Hoffman to make sense of this?

I think I would like this better if the white balance were adjusted to get rid of the overwhelmingly blue cast. Not really an uplifting color ... although I suppose you could have done that intentionally as a counterpoint to the heart and happy-sounding lyric. But then I would expect a title to hint at such an interpretation.

Lovely lighting, beautiful eyes, but I have to say I find the pink clothes jarring. Blue to match her eyes, brown to make all but her head blend in with the leaves or green to kind of match the grass and go with the new life springing from the leaves type of theme ... but not bright pink. (Note: were this my oldest girl at the same age I would have to do any coloring in PP, 'cuz she was NOT open to suggestion about what to wear!)

Tough shot with those branches in the foreground. Composition is nice and the reds in the background echo the bird's color nicely. The cardinal looks a little over-softened - there is a lot of detail on the branch he's perching on, but virtually none on his chest.

Spider trap

Nice butterfly and good composition. Could use just a touch more DOF to have the whole insect in focus and maybe make the spider more clearly a spider ... even though I hate spiders ;-)
