The Glassby smilebig4me1xComment: I like the lighting and softness and composition here. What appears to be a crease in the background (or is that where two things intersect?) would cost you points because it draws the eye away from the subject. The glass is also fading into the background a little too strongly on the right side at and below the creasy-thing; needs a bit of sharpness or a slight adjustment in the positioning of the glass so there is more distance between glass and background, I think. |

Lake-luster by MelonMusketeerComment: You want us to comment on one and you give us 4 beautiful shots?! My verbosity is being thwarted ;-p
Meanstwhile back to actual commenting: the light was great in all 4 but I love the calm beauty of this one. A fabulous capture of what it feels like to quietly watch the sun set over wetlands. |

casinoday14.jpgby icu1965Comment: Looks like it's still in pretty good shape. It's already got a great sign to open up as a seafood restaurant! |

Déjà Vu by GermaineComment: Looks like he's sweeping the water as if it were a floor. Cleaning up all that pesky foam. Nice capture of a puzzling moment. |

grassby RetroesqueComment: Lovely colors and shapes. To think a lot of people would never notice 'cuz it's just grass.
Did you turn this sideways? Just curious, but it's a good angle whether pre- or post-processing. Only thing I think I would change is to crop and/or clone out the little bits of grass at the very top. The composition feels stronger to me without it, although I could also make a case for those little bits reaching in while the piece directly underneath is reaching out to them. But that would be fanciful of me :-) |

Jan 15.jpgby Mr_PantsComment: Oh, but look, you got nice bokeh in the background! And some nice variety in shapes and colors in the foreground, and some nice lines. Not bad at all for a picture of trash recycling. |
