one man's trash (er recyclables) is another man's image of the day! creative use of a rather mundane part of everyday life!

Love the background bokeh and excellent detail! Do you guys have recycling? We recycle newsprint, glossy paper, boxes, aluminum cans, scrap metal, glass, and plastic jugs. I occasionally do work at our recycling center and the amount of trash from a small town of 2 thousand is staggering. I can't remember exactly how many tons NYC puts out per day, but it is beyond words. As a matter of fact and sadly enough.....sending recyling goods to China is America's #1 export. No joke. Are you in GB? Sorry to ramble... |

One of the first things that I noticed when I went to London was the contrast in how wasteful people are here and how people there either do not use disposable items, or they recycle most of what goes out the door. It's a much "greener" country there than here.
Nice shot of mundane things that are just a part of life. |

Oh, but look, you got nice bokeh in the background! And some nice variety in shapes and colors in the foreground, and some nice lines. Not bad at all for a picture of trash recycling. |
